Lost, Season 2

When I finished the season finale, I couldn’t wait to start the next season so the next day, I stopped at Best Buy to get Season 2!! I’m already on disk 2 and I’m glad I don’t need to look at the keyboard to type ’cause I can’t take my eyes of the screen. Some of that has to do with watching the back story on the Korean characters. You have to read some subtitles for that. 😉

Anywho, if you haven’t started any of Lost yet, don’t wait for Season 4 to start to start watching. You really have to watch it from the very beginning. Oh, and in case you’re wondering, I found out that season 3 comes out on DVD in December. The one good thing about watching the series on DVD is I don’t have another show to keep up with every week. I can watch the whole thing over the holiday (summer, Christmas) seasons. 😀

It’s opening today!!!

A while back, I blogged about a few things including being teased because a road called A. W. Grimes hadn’t opened yet. This morning, as I started working my way to the shower, they said on the news that they’re dedicating the extention at 10 am and opening it after!!! This will be so great because A. W. Grimes connects to Grand Avenue Parkway and my neighborhood is right off Grand Avenue Parkway. This is a MUCH more direct route to my job and will save me several miles and minutes a day. I’ll try to do the math of miles today ’cause by the time I come home, the new road will be open. This news certainly makes Wednesday a good day. I was having a hard time getting going today.

Help the local animal shelter keep animals alive.

The Animal Rescue Site is having trouble getting enough people to click on it daily to meet their quota of getting free food donated every day to abused and neglected animals.

It takes less than a minute to go to their site and click on the purple box ‘fund food for animals’ for free. This doesn’t cost you a thing. Their corporate sponsors/advertisers use the number of daily visits to donate food to abandoned/neglected animals in exchange for advertising.

Here’s the web site! Pass it along to people you know.
