It’s the wrong one, Charlie Brown!

Krez’s last post talked about good DVDs and Len & I both mentioned that we like A Charlie Brown Christmas (1956). Tonight, as I flipped through the TV, I ran across opening credits with Snoopy & friends playing in the snow. I was all overjoyed thinking I was about to catch one of my favorite Christmas specials. Low and behold, it was NOT!!! Instead, it’s All I Want For Christmas is a Dog, Charlie Brown (2003). Hmpf. It’s not terrible but it’s not what I was expecting. And on top of that, there’s really nothing much else on TV. Oh well. I’ve got an apartment to clean anyways. *shrug*

I do have to say that a quote I like from the movie is, “Rerun: Sisters are the crab grass in the lawn of life.” (Rerun is Lucy & Linus’s youngest brother.)

  1. DooOooOOH!!! Talk about having the football pulled away at the last moment! That’s like you’re about to have some hot steaming knookie and then you wake up and it’s all a dream 😦 sad *shakes head* very sad.

  2. Hahahaha, I love that quote! Infact I just purchased the DVD set that has the Charlie Brown Christmas and the Great Pumpkin, and the others. My *MUST* Christmas viewing list each year is this: Rudolf the Red Nosed Reindeer, A Charlie Brown Christmas, and of course National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation. “Can I refill your eggnog for ya? Get you something to eat? Drive you out to the middle of nowhere, leave you for dead? Naw, I’m doing just fine, Clark.” – LOL
