Word of the month

Today, the three band directors sat down and put together rehearsal schedules from now until we go on our Spring Trip (end of April) and it feels like there is something going on EVERY DAY! In fact, I think there is something going on either before or after school almost every day until then. Thank goodness for Spring Break & Easter weekend. Hopefully, I’ll get some personal things done during those times. Somehow, I’m thinking that’s just wishful thinking…. Things are already piling up nicely around my apartment as it stands. 😮

So, with all the rehearsals and such adding onto my schedule, I’ve got to make sure I keep up my workout and good eating habits. I know I’m going to want to find stress relief in ice cream or something similar. I’m doing so well. I’m not shrinking in belt loops like Krez but I’m finding my clothes fitting more loosely so I’m happy with results of yet. MMmmMmmmmmMMmMM….ice cream. That sounds good right now. Luckily, I’m too damn lazy to go get in my car to drive to the store to get some.

Anyways, I’m done babbling now.

~~~~~~~~Babbling (actually now bitching) continues~~~~~~~~
So, to top things off, my boyfriend goes to see a movie I really wanted to see, I received my Allegra perscription today and 3 months worth costs $129.99(!!! Is that worth it? I think I’d rather give my money to the people who make Kleenex!), other bills have arrived and a hot bubble bath hasn’t solved much. I hate when I get this way. I know tonight isn’t going to be a restful nights sleep because of all of this and tomorrow is going to be an UBER-long day (try 15 hours or so). What else could we add to this list? I know I thought of other things while I was trying to relax in the tub but obviously, it didn’t work. At least the cats are being obedient. I think Stanley’s feeling my pain. He keeps whining at me about something. I wish I could understand Cat…. 😡
  1. 😦 sorry to hear your day wasn’t going to well…. . I’m sure you will take on all these challenges on and make them successful and productive in the end.
    btw, sorry about the movie 😐
  2. Forget ice cream, girl! You need margaritas! We’re in the process of making a plan for next week…the 8th or the 10th, the place TBA, but I’ll let you know.
    Life gets overwhelming when you look at the big picture (especially since your life is planned out in BAND for months in advance), so my advice is to take it in small chunks and go see the movie with a girlfriend or make Len see it twice!!! Bad Boy.
    Love and hugs,
  3. Hahaha I have not problem with that Connie, just allow me the simple pleasure of a large popcorn with layered butter 🙂 MAuahaHAh
  4. Ooookay, but you’ll be running about 20 miles to work THAT off, or that’s what I’D have to do with MYaging metabolism. ‘Course the idea of running even one mile is a laugh. Maybe I’ll just eat that popcorn and get fat! Maybe drinking red wine in an attempt to foil arthritis makes me babble. Def-def-definitely.
  5. Did you know that when you’re up for over 18 hours and had worked for 14 of those waking hours, delirium starts to take over? The one thing I like about this state is that a lot seems funny! Unfortunately, my emotions are on high alert in this state as well. So, with that, I shall catch a nap before tomorrow.
  6. Sorry to hear things are so “fast paced” for you right now, Cathy. Just try to take a moment “for yourself” now and again…Or you will go MAD!! hehehe Isn’t it a nice feeling when the ol’clothes start fitting a little bit looser, though!?!
  7. So ya got a blog, eh? Cool. How’s life in the world of band directing? Sounds like you’re pretty busy. Hope things are going well.
  8. Things are feeling a bit easier now that the majority of this week has passed. Let’s see if the anxiety comes back again on Monday….
    HEY BUCKY!!!
